The Belize Barrier Reef System, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is best experienced close to the water while standing on a paddle board. Gliding along the surface exploring the creeks and inlets of one of the thousands of mangrove cayes on the Belize Barrier Reef is simply the best way to look for those special snorkel sites. You may encounter the shadow of a spotted eagle ray or glimpse the back of a diving turtle and see a soaring frigate bird or a diving pelican. And all that is before you get into the water to snorkel the pristine coral reefs of The Belize Barrier Reef.
We can also take you on other great paddling expeditions. Imagine floating down a twisting jungle river watching toucans and parrots fly overhead, the lazy iguanas sunning themselves only to have your cruise be interrupted by the surfacing of a manatee, the friendly giants of Belize. Or exploring the lagoons teeming with wildlife that are just a short paddle stroke away from Hopkins. The three videos on this page will give you an insight into what to expect on our SUP tours. We have no fixed itinerary for the trips except that everyone has fun. Hopkins Stand Up Paddle Boarding is not just about paddling we can also arrange for a private (max 5) snorkel tour of the nearby reefs. Specializing in small numbers, personal attention is our claim to fame and of course safety is our number one concern. |
